What this site does today

The public site explains the product. The course, workspace, and Personalized Help require an invited member account. Guide text is served from a content database or a static fallback after that session check.

Files and processing

Available workspace tools process files in the browser on your device. Those files stay in the tab until you close it or clear the queue. Planned tools (OCR, conversion, redaction, password crypto, and similar) do not accept files yet.

Retention periods and deletion schedules for any later server-side processing are not finalized in this repository. Specific windows will be published here before that processing is offered.

Accounts and storage

Member accounts are managed by Clerk. PDFInstructor stores the account email, invite record, and access status needed to run membership. PDF files processed by the browser tools are not stored on the server. Messages sent to Personalized Help are stored on the account and sent to the model provider to generate a reply.

Analytics and logs

Server logs may include request metadata for reliability and security monitoring. Do not include document contents in application logs.
